Editorial Policy: Sources, Verification and Directory Order

AllPlayStore aims to make an application’s identity and evidence easier to understand. This page explains how to interpret the published directory.

Sources and application identity

Application names alone are not reliable identifiers. Where a source provides them, we record the developer and package name alongside the application name. A listed source supports the specific statements attributed to it; it is not proof of every claim about the application.

Information that has not been established is left out rather than replaced with a guessed version, file size, price or rating. LOGO files help identify a record but do not establish its current availability or behaviour.

Verification labels

  • Awaiting verification: information still needs review. New incomplete entries remain drafts while they are prepared.
  • Source reviewed: the referenced public source has been examined for the stated information. This does not include installation, security testing or an Indian account/device availability check.
  • Tested: this label is reserved for documented hands-on work. A page using it should explain what was tested, when and under which conditions.

The initial application pages are based on source review. AllPlayStore has not completed hands-on tests of those applications. A source-check date records that review, not the developer’s release date.

Useful original information

Our guides explain the choices readers need to make and use original examples to make the rules clearer. We link to the sources behind factual statements and identify their limits. A developer’s promotional description should not be repeated as an independent finding. When an example was created by AllPlayStore, it should be identified as an explanation rather than a screenshot or test result.

Directory order and commercial relationships

The default directory order is set by AllPlayStore. A–Z is a navigation option. Neither order represents verified download volume, user ratings or popularity. If an entry is described as a recommendation, the reasons should appear in its content.

The directory may include commercial relationships, referral links or sponsored placements. Where a placement or link has that relationship, it should be identified rather than presented as independent evidence of quality. Payment does not turn an unsupported application fact into a verified one.

Updates and corrections

Application information can change after a source review. Read the source itself for current requirements and availability. A correction should update the affected statement and its evidence; a page date should not be refreshed merely to make unchanged content appear new. If sources disagree, the uncertainty should be explained instead of silently choosing a convenient value.
